What can I say? Despite the fact that I'm over the hype around Twilight, I actually really enjoyed the New Moon movie. The bigger budget definately shows, and the wolves were fantastic! What really impressed me was the range of emotions that were expressed on their faces. And, you know, the fact that they looked like real wolves

The other good thing? The humor. New Moon has some awesome one-liners in it that had us giggling on many occasions. And Jacob Black = sexiest guy in the whole damn film There was a collective "fwarrr!" when he first took his shirt off, and I so do not care that the actor is only 17. He is gorgeous, end of story. The wolf pack in general left us all drooling, so good times

Edward, on the other hand ... yeah, he really didn't appeal that much to me. Don't get me wrong, Rob did an awesome job, but if it came down to a choice between Jacob and Edward, it would most definately be Jake. Edward's body has improved since the first film, but pale vampire = not as sexy as tanned werewolf

Thankfully, the fans weren't that horrible either, and didn't drown out any of the film with squeals and what not. Even though the film started twenty minutes late due to the incredible mass of people that were literally filling the foyer! I was finished with my three boxes of Pocky before the film was even five minutes old

And Alice's yellow Porsche rules!! For those who don't know, I love Porsche 911s, so I was estatically happy to see it And the overall plot was much more streamlined, so it flowed together nice and quickly, without taking a stopover in heartbroken teenaged angst-ville. Bella's broken-ness was delt with quickly, yet effectively, and didn't hinder with the progression of the movie. It all went at a nice pace, with the action sequences done very well. The Volturi fighting Edward = awesome!

So, all in all, it was a very well done movie, and it was worth the sleep deprevation to go and see it at midnight. Although, I have to go to work in two hours, and I have a headache. I think it's time I got out of bed, grabbed some panadol, and had breakfast ...
