Ok, this is just a little something I threw together as a visual aid for my writing. This is the Sesana Pendant from my second novel-in-progress, 'Worlds Apart'. It is supposedly made of white gold, and the stone in the centre is a rose diamond. The pendant plays a key role in my story, so one night during a blackout, I had the urge to draw it. The original sketch was done entirely by candle light ^_^

The pendant was coloured in Photoshop CS, using the chrome and glass filters, as well as the clone tool to make the sand look as if it's covering the chain. A lens flare was also added, as well as a shadow on the pendant. I know it's a bit dodgy, but I'm still only practising digital colouring.
